Where Veterans Can Eat for Free This Veteran’s Day

Veteran’s Day 2022 will be celebrated on Friday, November 11. As is the case in previous years, several businesses and organizations offer discounts and specials for active-duty military and veterans to thank them for their service. Here’s a sampling of some of the many restaurants offering free items on Veteran’s Day*:

54th Street Grill & Bar – Free entrée valued at up to $12.

7-Eleven – Free coffee or Big Gulp.

Applebee’s – Free meal from a limited menu. Proof of service is required.

Bar Louie – Free craft burger or flatbread of your choice.

BIBIBOT Asian Grill – Free bowl.

Bob Evans – Choose from one of seven homestyle menu items for free.

Buffalo Wild Wings – Three free tenders and a drink at participating locations with valid ID.

California Pizza Kitchen – Free meal and non-alcoholic beverage from a pre-selected menu with a valid ID.

Casey’s General Store – Free coffee.

Denny’s – Free Build Your Own Grand Slam breakfast from 5 a.m. until noon.

Chili’s Grill & Bar – Complimentary meal from a select menu.

Dunkin’ Donuts – Free donut.

Freddy’s Frozen Custard & Steakburgers – Get a card for a complimentary Freddy’s Original Double combo meal. Valid through November 30.

Hard Rock Café – Free Legendary Steak Burger plus 15% discount off other items.

Houlihan’s – Get a free entrée from a select menu with proof of Veteran status or active service in the military.

IHOP – Free Red, White and Blueberry pancakes at any IHOP with proof of service.

Ikea – Get a free meal; military ID required.

Krispy Kreme – Get a free donut and coffee.

Lamar’s Donuts – Free donut and coffee.

Lion’s Choice – Free original roast beef sandwich.

Olive Garden – Free entrée from a special menu.

Outback Steakhouse – Free Bloomin’ Onion and Coca-Cola.

Perkins – Free Magnificent Seven Breakfast Meal.

Pie Five Pizza – Free personal pizza at participating locations.

QuickTrip – Free Big Q or coffee with military ID.

RA Sushi – Free shareable meal with dine-in.

Red Robin – Free Red Robin Tavern Double Burger and Bottomless Steak Fries with proof of service between November 1 and 14.

Smashburger – Free Double Classic Smash.

Starbucks – All active-duty, reservists, veterans, and military spouses get a free tall coffee.

Taco Johns – Free small beef #1 combo meal when ordered from Taco John’s app.

Wendy’s – Free small breakfast combo with military ID.

White Castle – Several free meal options including a Free Breakfast Combo or Castle Combos numbers one through six.
